Art Nicholls founded Nicholls Furniture beginning in 1947 in uptown Galion selling TV’s and hardware, gradually evolving into a full line furniture business in the early 1950’s. Art was joined by his son Jerry in the business in 1960. As the business grew, they eventually expanded to Marion and Mansfield, which is currently operated by the 3rd generation, Mike and Chris Nicholls.
